You don't like chocolate?

Nope. I don't. There are a few exceptions (York Peppermint Patties being the most prominent), but I just don't like the flavor of chocolate, and haven't since I was two years old. (Astute observers may note that York Patties don't taste much like chocolate.)

Doesn't this make life more difficult?

Yes, it does - I regularly receive pity, scorn, confusion, and chocolate that I don't want (in about equal parts). But at least I like cheese and tea, so there are two of the standard gift-foods remaining.
