What is up with all the buttons?

I've been wearing buttons regularly since 1994. It's just a part of my personality, albeit a fairly visible part. I rotate them fairly regularly, and archive the ones that I have worn on my wall at home. A relative history of the buttons is here, and the lanyard here; a list of what I'm currently wearing is here.

For the record, I do not believe in every button I wear, though I tend to wear either those that I do believe in or that I suspect will cause interesting conversations.
