This is the stuff I do, or at least part of what I do. There's really a lot more to it than this, but it's harder to keep track of stuff like who I'm hanging out with, what food I'm eating, etc. Besides, everything below is actually useful to me or someone else. Probably.

Books

I read a lot of books, mostly comics lately.

The below lists are of items that I'm collecting, but haven't completed yet or aren't really completable.

Collections of books:

Some series of books that I follow:

Movies

Movies are a large part of my life. I don't really know why.

Television Shows

I like taping stuff off of my TiVo all the time, and store vast repositories of tapes on my shelves. Here's my somewhat organized, absolutely not-complete list of tapes, listed by show.

Music

This is the stuff that I own (not necessarily the stuff I like!).

Games

I've been playing a lot of Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword (PC), Metroid Prime III (Wii), and Advance Wars DS (DS) lately. That's enough.

Notes

It's hard to score all things by the same system. But it's really probably worth the trouble... Here's what I've tried to go by:

Score Regular Non-Regular Examples
Movies Books
BOMB A disgrace. It would be best destroyed before anyone actually had to see it. Warn all others away for their own good, even if they dislike the genre anyway. Screw this, I'm not sitting through this crap. Supernova The Ashes of Eden (William Shatner)
* 1/2 An embarrassment - it was done wrong or incompetently, ruining whatever artistic value it may have had. Warn away those that would otherwise be interested. Why would anyone want to get into this genre? Avoid at all costs. (Note that this is worse than a BOMB). Austin Powers 3 The Starcraft book series
** Bad/boring. Not worth the time or trouble, but there's definitely worse out there. Ignore it and perhaps it will go away. A good example of why you don't bother with this genre. Resident Evil Most Star Trek books
** 1/2 Adequate. Worth watching/reading, but not widely evangelizing. Not really worth the trouble; not bad, at least, but doesn't keep interest. Most anything Bond Any given franchise series - Star Trek, Battletech, etc
*** Entertaining and good. Not a masterpiece, but worthy of your time. Probably worth watching/reading again. Evangelism is acceptable, but should be moderated. Pretty good; interesting, probably worthy of the time. Not enough to cause great future interest, however. Election The Vlad Taltos series (Steven Brust)
*** 1/2 Very good work; artistic, interesting, and amusing. Well worth watching again, as well as evangelizing. Actually pretty good; well worth the time, at the very least. Is probably worth a later re-viewing. Fight Club Snow Crash (Neal Stephenson)
**** Truly excellent work. A masterpiece. Worthy of regular revisiting. Those that don't know of it should be shown. Very impressive work. Offers a good reason to further investigate the entire genre; perhaps this is worth your valuable time after all. Worth evangelizing to others. Raiders of the Lost Ark Ender's Game (Orson Scott Card)

Note that the definition of 'genre' isn't just confined to "comics" or "movies", or even "sci-fi". I'm not going to try to define them at the moment.
